Workload:
Workload of student for successfully completing the course. Each ECTS credit represents 30 working hours. These are the combined effort of face-to-face time, post-processing the subject of the lecture, exercises and preparation for the exam.

The total workload is distributed on the semester (01.04.-30.09. during the summer term, 01.10.-31.03. during the winter term).
105 class hours (= 78.75 clock hours) over a 15-week period.
The total student study time is 270 hours (equivalent to 9 ECTS credits).
There are therefore 191.25 hours available for class preparation and follow-up work and exam preparation.

Learning outcomes:
After successfully completing this module, students will:
_        have sound knowledge of pictorial and plastic design work and its fundamental subject areas, such as the composition of space, subtraction and addition of bodies, the materiality and joining of components.
_        be familiar with scale, proportion, abstraction and concrete spatial perception and have developed a feeling for aesthetics, art, design and architecture.
Personal competence:
_        Training the senses, perception, spatial imagination, representation and creativity.
_        Training judgement, critical faculties and awareness of the natural, social and built environment, as well as an understanding of architecture as cultural identity.
