Workload:
30 class hours (= 22.5 clock hours) over a 15-week period.

Learning outcomes:
Based on a basic understanding of objects and space, students will be able to develop living concepts for changing social needs.
After successfully completing this module, they will have acquired analytical, typological and constructive knowledge and be able to translate this into creative design concepts.
 
Students will be able to translate ways of life and social expression into the language of architecture and communicate them appropriately.

Module content:
Study and analysis of the current European housing stock under the following aspects:
 social hotspots in rural and urban structures
 horizontally and vertically dense residential construction
 flexibility, new household forms and temporary housing
 flexibility, new types of construction and materials
 living and working
Benchmarks are living environment, living space, product and detail
