Learning outcomes:
Development of strategies for dealing with urban conversion. After successfully completing this module, students will be able to develop and review complex approaches to urban and industrial restructuring. They will have a basic understanding of complex functional, creative and technical aspects of urban planning and architectural design. They will be able to evaluate spatial situations in a differentiated manner with regard to preservation, renewal, and expansion. The students are able to align, reflect and classify their own design in the context of contemporary phenomena.

Analysis of areas that are characterized by structural change. Conception of complex design approaches under consideration of urban planning consequences.
Development of strategies for dealing with urban conversion. Development of solutions taking into account all relevant constraints such as city and environment, architecture and building construction, society and economy, infrastructure and traffic etc...
