Learning outcomes:
In this module students will acquire the knowledge and training needed when planning and implementing complex process control projects. Students will become acquainted with new programming tools and concepts and will know how to select and deploy the right tool for a specific automation task. As students are required to undertake projects during this module, they will become acquainted with the specific advantages and disadvantages of the different approaches available and will be able to utilize this knowledge when tackling similar assignments in future.

2.Modern project planning tools (Profi-Net, component-based automation, internet,
  teleservices)
3.Data interchange and communications protocols / System architecture
4.Visualization systems for HMI optimization
5.Application of advanced programming methods according to the IEC 61131 standard
  (SCL, S7-HiGraph, CFC)
6.Lab applications
