Learning outcomes:
Note: The modules "Business Communication and Intercultural Competence", "Technical Reading and Writing", as well as "_Professional Presentations" should be seen in conjunction with one another. They offer students a framework to further develop their English language skills in a professionally related area from the desired entry level B1 to level B2. About the "Business Communication and Intercultural Competence" module: After successfully completing this module, students will have received insight into the differences in international working environments, especially in English-language working environments, and can describe professional tasks. They will be able to recognize potential difficulties and conflicts in intercultural communication situations and can draw conclusions for their own behaviour in international contexts. In this context, they will be able to use adequate means of speech and behaviour for specific oral communication situations. In addition, they will be sensitized to different language registers and can apply them adequately in given written communication situations with international business partners.
