Workload:
Workload of student for successfully completing the course. Each ECTS credit represents 30 working hours. These are the combined effort of face-to-face time, post-processing the subject of the lecture, exercises and preparation for the exam.

The total workload is distributed on the semester (01.04.-30.09. during the summer term, 01.10.-31.03. during the winter term).
The total student study time for this course is 450 hours.

Learning outcomes:
The practical training phase is primarily intended to enable students to apply and test, reflect and evaluate the theoretical and methodological training they received at the htw saar, and to allow them to implement their knowledge and competence in practical areas and problemsolving situations and processes, in advisory, educational or caregiving fields of action or in management functions.
In the practical training phase, students are given the opportunity to explore fields of action that focus on a problem/theme/practical area of their study project in an exemplary manner. It is designed to allow students to solve practical, institutional, developmental or scientific problems as realistically as possible.

Module content:
The content of the placement is the result of the concretization of students´ theoretical work in their study projects. In addition, individual work steps, methods, phases and intended solutions, as well as expected results will be formulated in advance, worked on during the placement, presented in the project report and reflected and evaluated together with the staff of the placement institution, the project lecturer and within the framework of the study project.
