<objectives>After successfully completing this module, students will have basic knowledge in the field of industrial property rights, in particular reading, understanding and interpreting patents and utility models.

 
- They will be familiar with the most important patent laws and be able to implement them in development work.

- They will be able to carry out and accompany &quot;prior art&quot; patent searches with the help of Depatis.
