Workload:
Workload of student for successfully completing the course. Each ECTS credit represents 30 working hours. These are the combined effort of face-to-face time, post-processing the subject of the lecture, exercises and preparation for the exam.

The total workload is distributed on the semester (01.04.-30.09. during the summer term, 01.10.-31.03. during the winter term).
The total student study time for this course is 150 hours.

Learning outcomes:
After successfully completing this module, students will have acquired the skills to provide professional, appropriate nursing care to patients in need of surgical and/or medical treatment across all age groups and areas of care. They will be able to work confidently with the nursing process model including evaluation. They will be able to critically reflect upon theories and models of nursing and health sciences against the background of their practical applicability and derive nursing science research questions from professional practice.
